Terms and Conditions

1. Gift Cards & Promotional Offers

• New Members Only: Gift Cards are valid for first-time students only. Current or past members are not eligible.
• Expiration: The service begins on the day of redemption/first class.
• Physical Card: Must be picked up at the academy reception unless shipping is selected.
• Non-Refundable: Cannot be exchanged for cash.

2. Membership Contract Terms

• Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of $50 applies at sign-up.
• Contract Term: Standard memberships are 12 months.
• Early Cancellation: 50% fee of remaining dues applies if canceled before 12 months.
• Cancellation Notice: After the initial term, a 30-day notice is required to cancel. Failure results in a $99 fee.

3. Liability Waiver

By training at 617 BJJ, you release the academy from liability for injuries arising out of participation. You acknowledge that martial arts involve inherent risks.

Privacy Policy & Media Release

1. Media Release – Image Use

By participating, you grant 617 BJJ the right to record/photograph your image for promotional use (social media, website). You waive rights to compensation.

2. Information Collection & Usage

We collect data (name, contact, payment) solely to process memberships and communicate updates via ZenPlanner. We do not sell your data.

3. Special Needs Disclosure

Full disclosure of medical/behavioral conditions is mandatory for safety. Parents accept full responsibility for minors/adults with special needs.
